“My favorite Batman story so far has been ‘Night of the Owls,’ first published in issue #35 in Batman issues #13-19, back in 1989. That story is really the best Batman story ever told. You know, Batman’s fighting villains, making enemies, falling in love, doing it all, but he’s also trying to fight a lot of bad guys. It’s an amazing story and one of the better Batman stories ever told. So that’s great. But this story, it’s so much more, and so much fun. There’s some of that ‘Batman story in the Night of the Owls’ stuff in there, but with a twist – the Owls are still there.
